Who we are

YAKA SKYE Drone Academy is a drone pilot training institute located on Rajiv Gandhi Salai (Old Mahabalipuram Road), Paiyanoor, Chennai. Our mission is simple: convert ambition into certified, employable drone pilots — with the discipline of an aviation school and the energy of a startup.

India's drone economy is expanding across agriculture, land survey, cinematography, infrastructure inspection, logistics and public safety. Every one of those aircraft needs a trained pilot in command. That is who we build.

How we train

• Ground school — Drone Rules 2021, airspace maps and zones, meteorology, aerodynamics and flight theory
• Simulator hours — build stick skills and emergency reflexes before your first real flight
• Supervised flying — instructor-led flight training on trainer and professional-grade UAVs
• Mission skills — flight planning, payload operations, data capture and emergency procedures
• Assessment — written and practical evaluation mapped to DGCA remote-pilot requirements

Our campus sits on the OMR/ECR corridor at Paiyanoor — accessible from Chennai city, Chengalpattu, Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram, with open ground suitable for outdoor flight training.
